Henry Furbank

Principal Dentist

Henry Furbank is the Principal Dentist at the practice, having taken over in 2025. He is proud to be from the local area, having grown up in Driffield and completing his sixth-form studies in Hull before heading north to Newcastle University, where he studied Biochemistry.

Henry went on to pursue dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire, qualifying as a dentist in 2018. He then completed his foundation training year in the Lake District, combining further clinical experience with his love of the outdoors. After returning to East Yorkshire, Henry worked in Hull and Beverley before joining Lund Dental Practice in 2023.

Henry has a strong clinical interest in restorative dentistry, with a particular focus on minimalistic smile enhancements that prioritise natural results and long-term tooth health. He also enjoys providing clear aligner orthodontic treatment, helping patients improve their smiles in a discreet and comfortable way.

Now settled back in Driffield with his wife, Hollie, Henry is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused dental care to the community he calls home. He is known for his friendly, approachable manner and takes pride in building lasting relationships with his patients.

Outside of work, Henry enjoys playing rugby, going on walking holidays in the Lake District, and relishing a good DIY challenge at the weekend.

Marcus Lund

Associate Dentist

Marcus has been part of the practice since 1984 after qualifying at Birmingham School of Dentistry. With many years of experience, he enjoys caring for patients of all ages and prides himself on making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. From regular check-ups to smile makeovers, Marcus particularly loves general dentistry and building long-term relationships with families. Outside of work, Marcus is married to Cristina and has two grown up boys. He enjoys mountain biking, going for walks, and spending time in the Lake District - his favourite place to unwind.

Peter Costello

Associate Dentist

Peter qualified as a dentist in 1992 and has worked at the practice for the past 21 years. With a friendly, approachable style and decades of clinical experience, he takes pride in helping patients feel relaxed and well cared for, delivering with professionalism and a personal touch. Outside of work, Peter is an avid reader with a particular enjoyment of history.

Iram Sofia Tawhid

Associate Dentist

Sofia graduated from King's College London in 2020 and brings with her a wide range of experience, having worked in maxillofacial services as well as paediatric and adult special care dentistry. Sofia joined Lund Dental Practice following roles as a GDP Fellow and Paediatric Dental Officer. She has a real talent for putting anxious patients at ease and enjoys restorative dentistry. Outside of work, Sofia is a keen foodie and loves getting out for a hike whenever she can fit it in around her busy social life.

Victoria Bell

Associate Dentist

Victoria qualified from the University of Leeds in 2007, where she was awarded the Prize for Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. She has since completed further advanced training and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry.

She is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and creating healthy, confident smiles in a calm and welcoming environment.

After graduating, Victoria worked as a general dental practitioner in Leeds for many years before moving back to her home town of Hull.

Outside of work, she leads a full and active life with her husband, two young children and their lively German Shorthaired Pointer. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing netball, practising Pilates, and baking – especially birthday cakes!

Abigail Chapman

Associate Dentist

Hailing from Wetherby, West Yorkshire, Abi attended school in Harrogate, before heading to the North East to begin her dental training. She graduated from Newcastle University in 2016, where she was awarded the Proctor Prize for Clinical Skills.

Abi completed her vocational training (VT) year in Hull city centre, and developed many skills such as oral surgery (extracting teeth) and managing nervous patients. She stayed on as an associate where she enjoyed working for a further 2 years.

Since then, Abi has worked in Beverley and Pocklington, and enjoys saving teeth whenever possible! She is currently undertaking a postgraduate certificate in endodontics (root canal treatment), and finds this helps with saving teeth where she can!

Outside of work, Abi loves skiing and travelling to sunnier destinations. On a weekend you will find Abi trying out new recipes in the kitchen, DIY or hiking in the Yorkshire Wolds.

Stephanie Hedgecox

Hygienist

Stephanie began her career as a dental nurse, a role she had held until 2018. After taking time out to travel, she returned with a renewed passion for dentistry and went on to train as a hygienist at Teesside University, graduating in 2024 with First Class Honours. Stephanie is known for her friendly, calming manner and her patient-driven approach to care, always taking the time to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, keeping active at the gym, and travelling whenever she gets the chance.

Evan Catt

Practice Manager

Evan began her career in dentistry in 2012 as a dental nurse and has since worked her way up to becoming Practice Manager. With a strong understanding of all areas of the practice, Evan still enjoys being hands-on in surgery from time to time and values spending time on reception, where she can connect directly with patients and ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. Outside of work, Evan enjoys spending quality time with her family and loves getting creative through crafting and baking.

Gillian Dudding

Dental Nurse

Gillian qualified as a dental nurse in 1996 and, more than 30 years on, still truly loves her role. Outside of work, she's an avid reader and keen swimmer, and she has a real passion for exploring the great outdoors. Gillian especially enjoys taking her family on country walks, revisiting her favourite spots and discovering new ones along the way.

Aimee Hodder

Aimee has been part of the practice for 18 years, working as both a dental nurse and receptionist. With her extensive experience, she helps ensure patients feel welcome and well looked after. Outside of work, Aimee is a proud dance mum to her daughter and enjoys spending her free time supporting her at classes and competitions. When she gets the chance to relax, she loves socialising and going out for drinks with friends.

Claudia Humphries

Her dedication and warmth shine through in everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys holidays in hot destinations, spending time in the garden, and expressing her creativity whenever she can.

Claire Foster

Trainee Dental Nursee

Claire joined the team in 2025 as a trainee dental nurse and is enjoying learning new skills as she begins her career in dentistry. Outside of work, she's a busy mum to two girls and spends much of her time supporting them with their many activities. Claire enjoys keeping fit, going for walks, and treating herself to a Costa coffee whenever she gets the chance.
